My Mother Said has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.

What we don't keep

We don't store what you type or the kind rewrites it returns. Results are kept only in your browser, and you can clear them at any time with Clear history.

What the server logs

The server records your IP address, the request method and page path, and the response status, for operations only. It never logs what you type.

Mom Mode uses a third-party AI service

When you use Mom Mode, the text you type is sent through this server to Venice.ai's API, which rewrites it using Anthropic's Claude model. Venice serves the model through a third-party provider, and the request is anonymized before it's sent. That provider may retain and use prompt data for training under its own policies. Don't submit anything you wouldn't be comfortable sharing with an AI provider.

Wildcard Mode

Wildcard Mode runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
